Content Calendar Template
A content calendar template for B2B content teams — plan posts, articles, and campaigns by goal, audience, and channel so your content compounds instead of scatters.
Content Calendar Template
Use this to plan content by goal and audience — not just by date. A calendar without a strategy is a publishing schedule. A calendar with one is a compounding asset.

Content Calendar Principles
Do:
- Cluster content by theme — multiple pieces on the same topic outperform scattered coverage
- Link new content to existing high-performing pieces
- Repurpose: one long-form post → 3 LinkedIn posts → 1 email
- Plan around sales cycles and buying triggers, not just publishing cadence
Don't:
- Publish for volume without a keyword or audience goal
- Leave CTAs vague ("learn more") when a specific action is possible ("see the template")
- Create content without a distribution plan
- Measure content success by views alone — measure pipeline assist
Review Checklist (monthly)
- Every piece has a goal and a target audience
- SEO pieces have a primary keyword with tracked ranking
- All pieces have a CTA tied to a conversion event
- Top 3 pieces from last month identified and promoted further
- Gap content identified from Search Console (high impression / low CTR)
- Content shared with sales for any enablement value
